Thinking the enemy was destroyed, it was brought back by Rei’s arrow and shot at the girls as they were going home after a job well done… and the Alone shot a beam at them.
Akane took it head on to save her friends and her Vivid suit started exploding and was shot down from the sky!
DAMN, CAN’T WAIT FOR NEXT EPISODE!
Know how real it just got… I DIDN’T TAKE A SINGLE ASS SHOT! HELL I DON’T REMEMBER THERE BEING ANY!

Definitely an interesting episode on many fronts. Like you I found it very interesting that the Alone want Rei to stay in school. Hopefully they’ll explain that later on. If the Alones are time travelers then they may know about the Vivid groups identities, and be acting along the lines of keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Things don’t bode well for Akane. Regardless of if its the failing/falling, not getting sleep/eternal sleep. or tomato center/crushed tomato, or hungry for dinner/may never make it to dinner references lots of things this episode eluded to this not ending well for Akane.Wonder how Rei would react if Akane dies and she discovers that she played a large part in it.
Don’t think Akane will die… being main center and all. But I do wait to see Rei’s reaction to finding out these girls are the Vivids fighting the Alones.
