Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo – The Usual Sunrise Plot Twist
Oh snap! Lelouchopard is the now bad guy and Nerval is his Daddy!? Existence truly belongs to “The Girl Who Leaps Through Space”? Not only that…but Nami joined up with Evil Leopard!? Whut!?
lol…I will never get tired of the way Sunrise f*cks with our minds with Plot Twists. It was entertaining with Code Geass…and it’s entertaining with Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo! This anime is so damn entertaining!
P.S: Why is Akiha so damn stupid? Always rushing and and not really doing anything…for almost the whole series she really hasn’t done anything other than just shoot that little gun of hers and bitch at Leopard. Well…she’ll do something now…at least that what she says.
Also, I may have said that Tsutsuji is a forgettable character, but she turned out to be one of the most memorable character in Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo. Such a strong character who acts like she won’t take shit from anyone…though she keeps getting shit over and over! ^_^ Glad she didn’t really die when Benkei got beat down by The Prince of Darkness…or whatever Evil Leopard called himself.
Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ – Zwei Gets a Loli
Uhhh…I dunno…but Phantom feels like a whole different anime now…mostly because Zwei changed so much. After losing Ein, he killed people just as he always did, though he looked like he was having fun, and just followed orders like a dog, he has nothing left to lose and nothing else to care about. I understand that part. But what I don’t understand is his sudden interest in a case involving a dead prostitute. Where’d that come from?
The prostitute is someone unknown to him and I don’t recall him ever meeting her, but he wants to avenge her death. Not only that, but he takes in an orphaned girl, who used to live with said prostitute, and wants to raise her…as a “partner” in crime. He said that to ‘protect’ her from the organization. This just raises a flag in my head…it just feels weird.
My guess is that he just wants to ’save’ the innocent who were unfortunate enough to get involve in the case of the Yakuza murders. But his sudden ‘chivalry’ is totally unexpected and a bit out of [current] character. -_-
P.S: That girl up there, Cal, looks like a cross between Ellis and Lirio, both from El Cazador de la Bruja.
P.P.S: I wonder if that one shadow in the rooftop is Ein…
Top 5 Anime Picks for Summer 2009 Season

Sauce: http://chartfag.wordpress.com/2009/05/31/summer-2009/
Alright, lets get this outta the way so I can go back to being lazy!
Ah! Before that, I wanna point this out, because it just hit me…it has been ONE YEAR since I started this Top 5 Picks trend. That’s right! My first Top 5 Picks was started before the Summer 2008 Anime Season! How about that? One year of choosing anime I’ll either drop or finish just for the sake of finishing… ”’orz
Well, it’s a continuing trend, so let see which anime I will drop or force myself to finish find interesting from their synopsis…even though that chart up there tells me not to go by its synopsis…>_>
By the way, anime sequels and OVA won’t be picked, only NEW anime.
Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo – A Hero is Born…for Real This Time
Yeah, it was spoiled, but it’s still nice seeing her wake up from the so called dead!
I tend to forget basic Anime Lessons, like Anime Deaths 101 – Lesson 3: “No matter how gruesomely a character dies, if there is no body…then the character isn’t dead.” [I paraphrased so don't quote me on that...], so when I see a character die…I really think he/she is dead…but then again, should have realized SUNRISE would do this…again… -_-
Hatsukoi Limited – The Episode We’ll Remember
Baaawwwww~ ;_; Such a bittersweet episode.
It’s always the quiet ones whom we must watch out for. They may seem like they don’t have anything going on, but they have a lot more going than we see, usually something more deeper or dramatic than the main characters.
Chikura’s story was touching enough while reading the manga…but with the added help of of marble’s Sora ni Mau playing in the background, her story was made that much more touching and memorable. Chikura experience her fist love…and her first heartbreak. Whenever I look back to Hatskoi Limited, the episode I’ll recall first, will be this sweet and sad episode {09}.
Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo – A Hero is Born
NOOOOOOOO~~~~~~!!!! IMOOOOOO-CHAAAAAAAN~~~~!!!
WHY YOU DO THIS SUNRISE!? WHY!?
FIRST SHIRLEY, THEN LOCK-ON, AND NOW IMO-CHAN? WHY YOU KILL CHARACTERS I LIKE!??? WHY!?
P.S: I find the post title completely innapropriate…I mean, “A Hero is Born?”…SHE JUST DIED HOW CAN SHE BE BORN!? ”’orz
[Quick Post] What I see as “Moe”
“Moe” [萌え], a Japanese slang term used to describe a character to which you the viewer would develop “a pure, protective feeling towards”. “Moe” literally means “budding/developing”, which refers to the growing/developing protective feeling for the character. The same “Moe” can be used for ‘attraction, fascination, interest, fetish, etc. etc…’, for example: tsundere-moe, attraction/interest for tsundere characters. [Which I have!
]
But there is yet another form of “Moe” that is used more often…and that’s the one with the kanji “燃える” [to burn, to get fired up]. This one I think is a few level above the other “Moe”. Where “Moe” gives the feeling of attraction and interest, which is more innocent, “Moe” [燃え] carries the feeling of SEXUAL attraction.
