Shugo Chara! - Incest

Shugo Chara!
EEHHHH!!!!?! O_O

That’s a pretty bold move by Utau…but that’s not the thing that surprised me, it was what Ikuto said afterwards. “I’ll get mad because we’re siblings!!”

Gaaaaa~n!! ”’orz

Shugo Chara!
“Siblings?”

HOLY MOTHER FUCKING CRAP!! O_O WTF!? Huge surprising bomb shell! This surprised me a lot more than Nadeshiko’s ‘secret‘, the fact that Utau and Amu switched shugo charas, or even Amu’s fourth egg {we all guessed that one a long time ago}!

Shugo Chara!
“Holy crap they’re still at it!!!”
I’m pretty sure I had that face too…

Now I know why Ikuto treats Utau so indifferently…I guess there goes that love triangle I looked forward to. -_-

Shugo Chara! - Trap Surpise?

Shugo Chara! - Nadeshiko Nagehiko
Nagehiko

Surprisingly…I wasn’t as shocked as one should be. My reaction was just a monotonic “Eh…really?” I even bought that he was her twin… -_- Maybe it’s because I wasn’t really into Nadeshiko in the first place. It’s Amu all the way for me!! ^_^

Well, now that I caught up to Shugo Chara! {anime}, I think it’s time I catch up on reading Shugo Chara! {manga}, which I hear is drastically different from the anime.

Kurenai - Filler done right!

Kurenai

Usually, a filler episode on an anime with a nice streaks of great episodes dampens the enjoyment. But there are rare instances where this filler episode is so enjoyable it’s just feels it was necessary for future episodes. In the case of Kurenai, I think it was needed for Murasaki’s sake. She needs to have fun and act like a child should. So, they allowed her to be in a musical!!

Kurenai

This episode was really funny! I seriously couldn’t stop laughing at the bad singing and exaggerated movements, which added to the hilarity. The practice scenes were funny enough, but once they actually got singing, I might as well have been rolling on the ground!

Kurenai
Ah~! What’s better than watching a voice actress teach a singer how to sing! ^_^ Priceless!

CLAMP - The Masters of Plot Twists

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles

If you’ve been following Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, you pretty much know how much plot twist and confusion CLAMP has been throwing right smack into our faces. Ever since the Fai Arc, my mind has been messed with countless time. From Fake Fai to Clone Sakura, it has taken some re-read to partially understand and grasp what’s going on…and yet, I’ve loved every moment of it.

And now, we get a pleasantly good bomb that I think everyone will love. Syaoran is the son of Sakura-chan and Syaoran from Card Captor Sakura!! O_O

And to think, since the beginning, I’ve been at peace telling myself that Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles has no DIRECT connection to Card Captor Sakura {sans the character’s names and appearances}!! And now, a few links have been connected directly to it. Not only is Syaoran their son, but Sakura-chan actually foresaw what was going to happen and sent her son and paid {with her most precious possession} for him to cross dimensions! Oh man, I can’t wait to see what else CLAMP will fling at our faces! ^_^

Happy Mothers Day!

Izumi Kanata

Give your mom a hug, thank her for your life!! And remember, mother’s these days are more interested in technology…my mother asked for a web-cam and another {better} printer for her computer! What happened to flowers!? -_-

Gift ~eternal rainbow~

Gift ~eternal rainbow~

I don’t know if there are still some lasting effects from Canvas 2, but I didn’t really enjoy Gift ~eternal rainbow~ as much as I should have. Is it because I’ve seen TOO many romance type anime that I’m not surprised by their themes? Has seeing these themes over and over made them, for a lack of a better word, stale? Am I getting bored? Hmm…I don’t think so, seeing as I’m still interested in DaCapo II S.S. ^_^

Canvas 2

Canvas 2

I wonder why I didn’t watch this a long time ago, seeing as I love school romance anime. I’ve seen the characters around the net, I’ve read part of it’s Wikipedia entry, I’ve even seen it mentioned many times {in message boards, forums, etc}, and I’ve even seen the first Canvas {which is NOT FAMILY SAFE!! >_<}…but yet, I didn’t immediately ran to watch this series…I find that odd, REALLY REALLY ODD!! >_< But as you can see, I FINALLY decided to watch it!! ^_^

Shinkuro’s Ability

Kurenai

I’ve been wondering what was up with his right arm! Now we need the explanation on HOW or WHY he has that thing. ^_^

I had high expectations since episode one of Kurenai, and so far it has kept up with them, in fact it exceeded them!! Murasaki {awesome name by the way!! ^_^} definitely had made this a lot more interesting. She is not only the comic relief, but the source of most of the drama going on. Examples are when she visited the school where she caused lots of laughs with her cute-ness and innocence, and on the train ride back home, her chivalry {righteousness} got her in an argument with some guys bullying an old lady. {And In this episode is catching that man’s “lying face”.}

Foreshadowing or Spoiler?

Da Capo II Second Season
Sheryl: “What do you want for Christmas?”
Etoh: “I want…to disappear…”

We all could’ve guessed Koko would be unable to perform on the puppet show, and because of it Oto-nee was going to be talked into substituting for her. That cliche is not the focus here, it’s the story of the puppet show, which in a way seems oddly parallel to DaCapo II’s story…

For one, the main heroine {Sheryl} uses magic, like Otome, and she goes around and uses her magic to make people happy…I don’t if Otome is doing this but “magician of justice” seems to fit here…And second, their family took in a boy and treats him like their own, just like the Asakura’s did.

Da Capo II Second Season

But what made think the puppet show was foreshadowing {or a spoiler} was that scene where Sheryl asks Etoh what he wants for Christmas. The decision that comes afterwards is what I think will happen later in the story {of DaCapo II}. The Sakura Tree is acting up, and it’s only obvious to ’stop’ it, which will probably make Yoshiyuki disappear. Otome will have to decide whether to grant Yoshiyuki’s wish of ’stopping’ the Sakura Tree or ignore it…both bringing some consequences. But unlike the puppet show’s story, there probably won’t be a ‘miracle’.

Anzu’s story hit a little too close to home huh? Wa~y close, if you connect the dots, it’s a flat out spoiler!!

DaCapo II S.S > DaCapo II

Asakura Yume Asakura Otome

DaCapo II’s first season pretty much shafted Otome and Yume and focused on other characters like Koko, the already forgotten Minatsu {I need MOAR roboto! >_<}, and fan favorite Shirakawa Nanaka. Also missing was the Magical {doom bringing} Sakura Tree, which is the focal point and cause of DaCapo’s story. No magical tree…no drama. But to a degree, DaCapo II did have some good drama. Like Nanaka liking Yoshiyuki and keeping her feelings hidden from him, much like the first Shirakawa, and Yoshiyuki shafting Koko…
