OreImo 14-16

So this happened. The three final episodes of Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai came out and caused a shitstorm all over the anisphere.

AND IT WAS GLORIOUS!

I don’t understand how people didn’t see the ending coming. Yeah, they may not be (the conquest) God, but it’s plain as day to see who will ‘win’ the OreImo. I’m more surprised at them rather than what the anime actually showed. C’mon, guys…

IT’S IN THE TITLE OF THE ANIME, HOW DID YOU NOT SEE IT COMING

Also, it’ absolutely stupid to drop the anime AT ONE OF THESE THREE LAST EPISODES. It’s very late in the anime, you wasted your time. lol

I must admit, it was because of their rage and utter disgust at the anime which made this a great watching experience. Not trying to be an asshole and savor all their tears, but the reactions were just too hilarious.

As for my reaction… let’s wait a bit, first, let’s enjoy the greatest scene in these last three episodes:

Uh oh, shit's going down!

Uh oh, shit’s going down!

Kirino, you're awakening the beast!

Kirino, you’re awakening the beast!

DAAAAAAAAAAYUM

DAAAAAAAAAAYUM

(*´Д`)ハァハァ

THIS IS GLORIOUS!

THIS IS GLORIOUS!

Stupid tropes.

Stupid tropes.

Manami best final boss!

Manami best final boss!

Man, that was too awesome. Didn’t think Manami actually meant fighting when she said she was there to fight. Once Kirino started being Kirino a bitch, I hoped, prayed, wished, Manami would punch her in the face.

She went for the gut.

FUCK YEAH, MANAMI!

This wasn’t a senseless fight, if that’s what I’m making it look like. This was a fight where all their emotions are packed into their punches, which is why I enjoyed it so much… even if it was a bit scary (because felt so realistic.)

They each got so say what they wanted to say to each other and released all their bottled up feelings. Manami is absolutely right on this one, brother and sisters can’t get married and what they’re doing is utterly disgusting (to other people). So they should put a stop to it now before things get out of hand. I was actually thinking the two would listen to her, but apparently, they made promise (during their stay at the hotel after Kyousuke confessed) and will keep it ’till it’s fulfilled.

Manami is right on this, though I must admit, I didn’t want them to listen to her. No, not because I support them, but because I wanted to see an anime with an actual incest ending. None of that unrelated bullshit. But an ending with both of them being actually related.

So when I saw them in the chapel, getting married, I was glad at where it was heading.

WOW, ACTUALLY INCEST ENDING!

But…

hahah fuck NOPE DENIED THAT ENDING

And now I’m conflicted. On one hand, I wanted the incest ending, but on the other hand, kinda relieved they didn’t actually incest end…

They’re back to being normal brother and sister, as they promised in the hotel room.

My conflicted feelings might come from the fact that I wasn’t in full support of Kyousuke x Kirino as a couple. Yeah, that would give me the incest ending I always wanted in an (non-h) anime, but if I don’t actually support them… then it’s not actually what I wanted… no?

That’s why I was OK, a bit indifferent, with the marriage and didn’t rage react, but relieved when they went back to being normal brother and sister.

In all, these three episode were insanely fun. And garbage. Can’t help but love it. Moral of the story:

    • I did watch Yosuga, IIRC wasn’t that one more like and omnibus? All the girls get an arc, then resets from the beginning again.

I don’t think that quite counts. lol

      • Yes, the last arc was the sister’s as far as I remember. Not a good show, but it did treat the incest issue relatively seriously.

Check out Koi Kaze someday. It’s a good cultural/character study, not reliant on the incest.

  1. I’ll admit that I was one of those people who hated the ending. I would have preferred it if he had just stuck to the route he set up instead of copping out in the end.
