Spring 2010 Anime Preview

Oh yeah~ that time again! It’s time for me too take a peek at what’s coming out in Spring 2010 Anime Season!!

This time though, I won’t really do what I did last time. I will not say something about every single anime featured in that list up there because unlike Winter 2010 line up…this one has twice as much! XD

Also, I’ve been studying a lot more Japanese and being distracted by Touhou Doujins, so I’ll choose whatever looks interesting at first glance. And next season too am I feeling for some moe~ XD

Doesn’t catch my eye at all

Bakugan Battle Brawlers
• Never seen any Bakugan. Pass

Ikkitousen: Xtreme Xecutor
• Never finished season one, didn’t care for season two…pass.

Hetalia Axis Powers Season 3
• Oh man I’m soooooo behind on this. I found it funny but got lost in the shuffle. Will try to catch up sometime.

Hana Kappa-kun
• Children’s. Pass.

Marie & Gali 2.0
• “Sequel”. Pass.

Ketsuinu
• Buttface Dog…LOLWUT!? Looks stupid and ugly. Pass.

Ookiku Furikabatte Season 2
• Season two of baseball anime not named “Taishou Yakyuu Musume”. Pass.

Major Sixth Season
• Sixth season of another baseball anime not named “Taishou Yakyuu Musume”. Pass

SD Gundam Sangokuden
• Romance of the Three Kingdoms with Super Deformed Gundam. GAAAAAAAAAAAAY!! Gundams are supposed to be HUEG super sexy fightan robots! Screw this SD sh.t! My inner moe love says ‘cute’, but my GAR side say Pass.

Jewelp….
• ass

Giant Killing
• Expected some sort of fighting…got soccer anime. Pass

Metal Fight Beyblade: Explosion
• Pass.

Arakawa Under the Bridge
• The only enticing thing is SHAFT. Anything else doesn’t catch my attention. Pass until I hear good things from anisphere.

Senko no Night Raid
• Same as top one. No interest so I’ll see what other have to say about it.

Uragiri ha Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru
• ^

Kiss X Sis
• I have yet to watch the much acclaimed OVA’s. Shame on me. Shame… So until I do, this anime will be a pass. Also, because of fear of censors. This anime may be censored to death will all that loli ban talk in Japan. But hey, Ladies Versus Butlers gave us loli nipples and DFC so it may just be alright~

RAINBOW – Nisha Rokubo no Shichinin
• I’m just not feeling it.

Yojo-han Shinwa Taikei
• ^

I might watch this, but probably won’t

Yutori-chan
• Hey the pic looks cute. That is all.

Heroman
• Finds toy and fights against aliens…IMO sounds retarded. But I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt and see what this Stan Lee X Studio BONES will do with this.

Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Maou
• Predicted to be the Devil Lord. This means he’ll be an outcast since the beginning. Then some girls will fall for him, or follow him around, and show everyone else the result are anything but. The setting is in a world of magic, and I like that. Also, moe voice Toyosaki Aki is main heroine~

Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan
• I like the name “shinsengumi”…because of Gintama, I know the Shinsengumi are not fun as the ones in Gintama, so I wanna see another side of it. Also, guys turns into an ogre, meaning melee combat. I wanna see more sword fighting though…sword wielding ogre sounds pretty badass!

Hime chen! Otogi Chikku Idol Lilpri
• I’m still watching Pretty Cure so I don’t know if I can take another mahou shoujo anime this upcoming season. If I can handle it I’ll watch it, if not…pass.

D.C. ~Da Capo~ Ext
• What? Just how many more times will that damn Cherry Blossom of death gonna make dorama? I don’t know what to do with this one. It says it’s a retelling…and that just sucks. Make a new one at least. No more of that Alternate stuff please. Kiminozo did it right~ Anyways, I’ll give it a few eps and see how it goes.

B Gata H Kei
• High School girl who wants to reach her dream of being a slut. First thought, pass. But since it says she starts to follow ONLY one guy, I’ll give it a watch.

Kaichou ha Maid-sama
• “Romantic Comedy”, “maid”, SOLD! Haven’t read the manga and hear people are excited about this so I’ll follow the sheep and join the crowd.

Angel Beats!
• Student council battling against Gods/Angels? Rebellion against God? Sounds very interesting but I dunno if it will be for me. But chances of me liking it are really high…because of the cast~ ;)

Romance of the Three Kingdoms
• Oh, would you look at that. An adaptation NOT moe-fied nor BOOB-fied! Unplausible!!! Maybe this anime will tell a better story than Koihime or Ikkitousen so I’ll keep a watch on this.

House of Five Leaves
• Hey samurai anime, why not?

Definite Watch

Shin Koihime Musou Otome Tairan
• I’ve watched the first two season of this subpar anime…and honestly, I’ve enjoyed them both! It’s dumb and stupid but o’ so fun to watch!

Working!!
• I saw the first episode and I liked it! A keeper for me~

Mayoi Neko Overrun!
• Despite having a no blood relation siblings, I’m excited for this. Why? Because I see a neko mimi girl up there! XD

K-ON!!
• As you can see, I’m feeling for some moe once again, and what better than another season of moe blob anime K-ON!!? OH YEAH~~~

So yeah, there ya have it. I want some moar moe and thus you see those four picks up there. It’s usually five, so let’s make the list be:

Aww, if Shin Koihime Musou had an exclamation mark at the end it would have been awesum~ As for OVA and specials, I might probably watch most of them but the ones I’ll keep tabs on are:

• Gundam Unicorn
• BLACK ROCK SHOOTER
• Darker Than Black
• Katanagatari
• Negima! Another World

I thought BLACK ROCK SHOOTER was gonna be a full serialized anime, but I think OVA will be better. I’m also gonna watch TO LOVE RU because I’ve watched all others so far! XD

And those are my picks, it may suck to everyone else but I look forward to those five [and those OVA/Movie/Specials]! But of course, this will not be set in stone. This is just to weed out what does and what doesn’t look interesting to me so I won’t have to watch sh!t anime [by my standards]. I may even stick with something on the “Not interested pile” XD
