Makino Yui’s New Single

Interesting news I happen to come up on. Makino Yui’s newest single will be from “Hoshi no Umi no Amuri”, a three episode OVA of what seems to be a Star Ocean spin-off. There’s isn’t a lot of information about this OVA, let alone a release date, but there is a manga series that started November 21, 2007.

Anyway, the single will be released December 19, 2007. You can pretty much guess it’s a character album rather than a true single! ^_^’ But hey, anything by Makino Yui is a good thing! Or am I the only one who thinks that?

Tracks:

01. Yacchaouyo!
02. Amuri no Hitorigoto
03. Amuri no Te-ma
04. Umidorika -Amuri Ver.-
05. Yacchaouyo! (Special Karaoke)

I’m not sure but I think track four can also be “Kaichou Hana”. Only way to know which is which is by having someone actually say it! ^_^’ Anyway, I hope I’ll be able to get it and listen to it!!

  1. I saw that cover art a few weeks ago while browsing Makino Yui’s webpage, but I didn’t realize it was coming out so soon or that it had anything to do with star ocean! I wasn’t too impressed with her sketchbook songs, but the tsubasa chronicle ova single was really good.

also, if you’re interested, the utau character single is out this week. new mizuki nana songs are a good thing…. though her next actual single isn’t out until february (rosario + vampire op-ed single).

  2. It’s out in APE right now. I’m actually converting it as I type this. :P Haven’t seen any mp3 torrents yet, but if one doesn’t show up let me know and I’ll megaupload it for you.

  3. Track 4 you hear her say “umidori” in the song but not “umidori hana,” so I guess we’ll just have to wait for someone to actually romanize it because all the tags are screwy. Sound like “umidori ga” or “umidori ka,” and as you know, I don’t know a lick of Japanese, so I’m not sure what to say. :P

  4. I’m downloading it right now and will delete it when the MP3’s come out! Thanks anyways!!

It could be “Umidorika”, because Hana has “KA” as one of it’s sounds!
