Completed a second route to Flyable Heart, this time following Sakurako’s story. Sakurako is the gentle and sickly type of character who is also a bit of an airhead. I wasn’t really aiming for her but things just led that way. I follow the story without reloading and choosing a different option should I not go where I want. More fun that way I think. This time it led me to Sakurako’s story, which I thought would end the same way like Amane’s, going back in time and redoing things.

Luckily that didn’t happen.

Flyable Heart – Sumeragi Amane

After stalling for who knows how long, I finally sat down and cleared Amane’s route. I started reading Flyable Heart a really long time ago, but stopped because of a stupid plot point that I hated to hell. Even now I’m not sure if it was worth continuing with her route. But I had to because I really liked Amane.

In the world of Flyable Heart, Amane is president of the Ryourankai, an association of sorts. Kinda like the student council, but not as strong I guess. Although, has that student council president aura around her and sure has the sense of responsibility of one. I think that’s why I was attracted to her first, the same happened with Kagura Aya in se.kirara.

Moshidora – Bittersweet

God I loved the ending to this anime, it was so touching. I knew Yuki wouldn’t be able to see the baseball team go to Koushien, but I didn’t want to assume the worst so simply thought she would be in critical condition or go into a state of comma…but the worst did happen. She died. D:

Gah you stupid anime why you killing my favorite characters!? Sayaka now Yuki D:

The ending was really well done, Minami returned to support the team, she experienced the same feelings Yuki had for baseball, and the team made it to Koushien. I have to give a bit of credit to Yunosuke, he was the one who caused the most errors, but he pulled a fast one on us and did the same thing Minami did when she was younger.

What I liked the most was the ending song playing through all of it, that song took a whole new meaning after episode 09, when Yuki died, and hearing it play though all of it was that extra touch needed to make me love it completely.

Pretty Rhythm – Power of Clothing

lolwut so we have this extremely clumsy girl who trips on invisible air whenever she moves her feet, she can’t even walk far before she trips let alone stand while wearing ice skates. But once the power of clothing activate and she hears their song she suddenly can figure skate and do a freaking turn in the air and land it without messing up.

I know…facepalm.

I understand this isn’t an anime to take seriously, but man…my face hurts from all the facepalming. The second and third episodes were alright though, not by a lot, but enough for me to give it a few more tries. lol

One thing I can’t get used to is the change between 2D animation and the 3D animation of the dancing. It just feels odd.
