The Spring anime season is nearing closer, so it’s time to look at five new anime I look forward to!

Astarotte no Omocha!
-Reverse harem AND semen drinking? Is this the opposite of Qwaser? I have to watch this! lol High chance it will end up sucking badly, but it won’t hurt to try!

Hen Zemi
-Apparently “Hentai Seminar”. Fetishland!? Let’s watch shall we!? There was and OVA of this right? Should watch that and see if it’s what I think it is.

Deadman Wonderland
-Gladiator style fighting prison arena. Sounds good to me! I think it won’t be as violent as I think it will be and or censored to death… :/

Hidan no Aria
-Cute girls with guns.

A-Channel
-Four cute girls doing their everyday things. Reminds me a bit of Lucky Star and K-ON, so hell yeah instawatch!

Like always, these are the ones I look forward to because they look interesting. Not included in this list are those series I have knowledge about, like STEINS;GATE, Ao no Exorcist, Nichijou and sequels. And as always, I plan to try as many on that list as I can.

Suite Precure – STOP SCREAMING!

Is this gonna be a recurring theme? Will they always fight in every freaking episode!?

Going by these six episodes…I guess so. -_-

These ladies sure like to argue, any little thing sets them off and then it just escalates and escalate until they’re screaming at each other at the top of their lungs. I wonder if they should be in some anger management program. But well, in the end they end up going back to being good friends and the cycle repeats again next episode. :/

They need to chill down a bit and stop screaming at each other.

Fresh Precure – Mahou Shoujo Overdose

A few weeks ago, after watching Madoka and how it was killing our beloved Magical Girls, I decided to watch something a bit lighter. I picked Pretty Cure. I watch this when I’m bored out of my mind and don’t want to do anything else because it’s really facepalm worthy. I finished that first season a few days ago, which was alright, nothing really great to talk about.

After that I looked at Wikipedia and learned not all of the precure are connected to each other (some are but not all), meaning I could watch one without having to go through all the seasons before it.

So I decided to watch Fresh Pretty Cure because it has one character I completely fell in love with at first sight…Eas (one of the baddies). I just love her character design, it’s so badass and sexy! And so far, I’m enjoying these series, I just finished the available episodes (1-24) and those last few were totally awesome!

If there’s one thing to give credit to Pretty Cure, it’s the fighting. From what I’ve seen they’re pretty damn good at it. It’s not all just magic and waving of the magic stick. They get in there and kick, punch, and/or supplex the bad guys! It’s very satisfying watching girls kick down a monster three to four times their size!

And nothing is more satisfying than watching two girls fight each other and becoming friends after completely duking it out and tiring themselves out! SHOW YOUR EMOTIONS WITH YOUR FISTS!

For a second there I almost thought they were gonna kill my beloved Eas, which they did, but remembered this wasn’t Madoka, meaning she won’t be dead for long. The power of frenship and LOVE made her into a Pretty Cure NOT EVEN FIVE MINUTES after her supposed death.

Tacky and cheesy…but loving every moment of it!

But now that I reached the available episodes, I have to wait for more to come out. So until then I guess I’ll watch the second season of Futari ha Pretty Cure. Oh, I’m also watching Suite Precure.

I think I’m overdosing in mahou shoujo! XD

Madoka Magica – Time Traveler

Last episode, we found out Homura came back in time to stop Kyuubey from making a contract with Madoka. I accepted that readily, but it didn’t quite answer the question why Homura was so hellbent on saving Madoka and being a lot more serious concerning Madoka’s contract. Why was she so desperately trying to stop the contract, it can’t be just to prevent the birth of the strongest witch right? That is one reason, but we also find out it’s because she has gone through countless repetitions of the same events…events where we found out she saw her very first friend(s) die over and over again.

Those repetitions made the rather shy and weak constitutioned Homura into the cold badass she is right now. I don’t like that, going back in time and redoing shit over and over. I readily accepted it last episode thinking she did it only once, but now that I know she can [apparently] do it countless times…meh.

The episode was still pretty good though. I wanted to know more about Homura and I got it. Now that I know what makes her tick, I like her even more!

Last ep we got aliens, this ep a time traveler, introduce an ESPer and Haruhi will be thrilled.

Madoka Magica – Alien Invasion

Well shit, Kyuubey is a freaking alien! He revealed they, yes they, want to conserve the universe’s energy with the huge amount of energy brought out by the magical girls whenever they experience hope/despair. Meaning the life of a magical girl saves the universe.

What I find scary, is Kyuubey using the plural form for first person pronouns. He’s not saying me, I, or myself…he’s saying we…there’s more than one of these fuckers!? He had, and ate, a spare body…but was that a different Kyuubey? Are they all one entity?

And Kyuubey becomes more of a dick as episodes goes by, and this time he was the dickiest. It gave Kyouko false hope by telling her she could able to save Miki from her witch form by vaguely saying a magical girl can do the most surprising and unbelievable of things…then he comes back and tells Homura it was obviously impossible…

Meaning we lost Kyouko now. ;_;

STOP KILLING OUR MAGICAL GIRLS!

(I’m loving every moment though.)
